2007 AAFE is alarming every morning for a few minutes. Once it warms a few degrees it stops. Here's what I can get:

111 (1) which is a low coolant alarm. Need to replace the sensor like we have on the others I'm sure.

Two other codes I've seen on other buses but I can't find out what they are...

194 (1) and 524287 (31) I think the last one is just gibberish but maybe not?

Anybody have a cat book handy?

194 code is related to either low fuel pressure, or low injection pressure. I don't have the book right in front of me, but it I know that it is one of those 2. Probably looking at replacing a HUEI pump in the near future.

Ok I thought that 194 sounded like something I've had before. Goody...I was just thinking how I wanted to dump a ton more cash into my CAT engines!

Thanks!

94-1 is low fuel press not injection pressure. not sure of 524287 though, change the filters and retry. if it still alarms change the fuel press regulator.

Looking back at previous buses...fuel filter usually solves it. If it is the regulator at least that is not a bad job on an FE.

I think what we see a lot of times with ours are a low fuel pressure code and an injection actuation pressure code that goes along with it and that's usually when we end up doing a HUEI pump.

Just to update. Replaced the failing coolant level sensor and changed the fuel filters, no more alarms or fault codes, other than the weird 524287 that all of my 07's have.

Hopefully my luck holds out, but it's a Cat so...
