Is anyone using an on-vehicle brake lathe to machine disc brake rotors?

In a word no... If they need turned, I pitch them and install new. My success rate with turning rotors hasn't been very stellar. But I never did an "on vehicle" rotor turning.

Same here...My experience has been that machined rotors just warp even easier. I replace with new.

I have used an on car lathe and they do work very well. I would only ever use them on smaller vehicles. That being said, replacing with new is the better way to go.
