We have a 2015 International AE with a MaxForce 7 that has lost oil pressure. About 6 months ago this happened and we had it towed to the Dealer. Tha dealer shop tech. said that it needed an oil change. The oil only had about 1000 miles on it. Dealer hooked up diagnostics and found a code for no oil pressure but they did not do anything except chang the oil. We paid for a 700 dollar tow and a 600 oil change. Now this morning we pulled the bus into the shop to change the oil drained oil, filled the oil filter with oil, filled with fresh oil, started the bus and it has no oil pressure, bus just turned over 33,000 miles. Anyone else have oil pressure issues like this.

First you should verify that you have "no oil pressure" by hooking up a manual gauge. That way you will know if you have a mechanical or and electrical issue with the motor. I have had two MaxxFarce 7's with no or low oil pressure codes that turned out to be a bad oil pressure sending unit. We have had a few that had massive fuel dilution.

Ah, gotta love the Navistar engine! I have sympathy for the dealer on this one. If it wasn't doing it when they got it in the shop it's hard to fix. However, it looks like they would have just replaced the sender anyway. Go figure.

Not to mention a 6.4 with no oil pressure = no go...Driver calls in and says OP reads zero, bus runs great, restarts great, temp good...bring it around for a sender.

We pulled the plug by the oil filter and put in a mechanical gauge it had oil pressure and also the dash gauge worked. It has been working fine. Our school is out for the summer now and we will be sending it to the dealer for some other issues but will let them know about this problem also.
