I have a 2001 Thomas Saf-T-Liner with a CAT 3126 that once at operating temp. it has a check engine light and loss of power under full throttle. The driver has to pull over, turn the bus off and restart it to get the light to come off. Once they do that, all is fine until they go full throttle again. I don't have the software to check for codes. I found an IAP sensor leaking quite a bit of oil and replaced it. Went out and test drove it and all was great. It even felt like it had a bit more power. The driver took it out today and it seemed to be okay until the end of their route, when it came on twice under full throttle. They said that it does have a lot more power and it didn't come on as much. Am I on the right path or was the IAP sensor a separate issue?
