have an 07 BB with cummins ISB 5.9 losing power and surging. Has an inactive code 2215. code is for below range fuel pressure, called cummins dealer they have the replacement lift pump available but also have a new kit that relocates the pump closer to the tank. just wondering if anyone has used this kit. this will be the 2nd pump for this bus since we've owned it and it has 142000 also have another bus same year and setup that has also had 2 pumps swapped and has 120000 original pump part number 5260632 $217
the new kit still uses the same pump it just moves the pump of the side of the block. they said that the majority of the failures from what they thunk is do to vibration.
