It appears the student fell off of a skateboard and was struck.

I expect the Ohio Department of Education will send a mass email to us all today with more info. I'll pass it along if that happens unless someone beats me to it.

My heart felt sympathy goes out to the family of the young man and the driver of Norton Schools. This is a terrible tragedy for everyone that was involved. My hope is that everyone can find some peace some way.

Yes, horrible tragedy. From what I've heard, the driver went to make a turn and the kid fell off his skateboard and went under the bus. I guess the driver didn't know what happened at first. I feel bad for everyone involved.

When a very similar thing happened in far NE Ohio last year, people were out for the driver's head (even though it was not her fault at all). This time things are looking different, people are not out for blood. That's a nice change from the norm.
