I have a 2006 BlueBird Vision and the odometer displaces "gauge missing". I know there is a procedure with the menu buttons on the gauge however I cannot seem to find the correct item to turn that off.

Anyone help?

Thanks,

I will try it later this morning. I can see by the instructions, I was not holding the "m" button down, I was holding both.

Thanks for the tip @Thomasbus24. We've found that when we had to replace the speedometer for other reasons, the "gauge missing" becomes "ABS Comm Fail" I actually just tried to get rid of the "ABS Comm Fail" message on our new gauge and I can't; it wasn't listed as an option. Hopefully it will work for the original gauges. We've had that message since we bought the buses.

The easy option didn't work. It won't let me delete the transmission temperature gauge.
As far as the ABS Comm Fail goes, IFRC, you have to change the comm link from what it is defaulted to on the new gauge.

@RonF Do I need a B.B. dealer program for that?

gOttadrift,
No, it's in the menu options in the speedometer head. You press both buttons at the same time and it takes you to the setup menu. I don't remember how it's done and I don't have the directions for it.

Found it!!!! gOttadrift. Look at page 599, this my be what yours is doing. You may need to change the ABS binary input from low to high, or high to low, depending on which ABS you have.

@RonF Thanks for the link...I checked the Binary and it's high. The ABS system works fine and the ABS light comes on if there is an issue. I just thought it was funny that the gauge doesn't recognize it. I wasn't trying to change the topic of this thread, I was trying to put in my experience with this issue and it sounds like no one else is experiencing this. No big deal, but great info none the less! I'm sure it will come in handy down the road.
