Had to replace fuel filter header on 2007 EPA Maxxforce DT and broke the clip on the return line. Anybody have a good way for replacing these? It has been almost 3 years since I've had to do one.
Just did one recently, use a heat gun (hair dryer) to soften the plastic line and it'll come right off. It'll go back on just as easy. Works like a charm.
Yes, did it yesterday. Had to cut the old one off at the end of the line and pull the line up just a bit for the new one. Tried using heat gun to remove old one, but wouldn't budge. Used heat gun to put new one in though. All is better now, for now that is.
