I have a 1998 3800 international. Years ago I remeber buying entire rebuilt gauge units from international for like $200. I called today and they are trying to sell me $1000 worth of parts, like $800 for the housing and each gauge individually. Anyone have the part number for the entire rebuilt unit? Or maybe a place that would send me a rebuilt for cheaper than $1000?

Not sure what your problem is, but when we get International gauge clusters that start acting up, we pull them apart ourselves and resolder the pins to the board. Seems to have worked for us.

oh yes, they have gotten stupid expensive from International.

I just bought the circuit boards from DDinstruments (the link Fastback shared,) and so far it is working great for $309. The circuit board solder joints are your most likely culprit in a failed or failing dash.
