I have a 2011 IC bus with the VT engine . Just as Summer came on the transmission filter light came on . This is below the odometer and says transmission filter needs changed . Is this a mileage thing or is something really wrong with the filter ? I couldn't find any info on this . If it's a mileage issue and I cahnge it how do I reset the warning ? Thanks in advance

Change the filter. The light comes on when the TCM recognizes a pressure change from one side of the filter to the other. key one engine off. Move the shifter from N-D-N-D-N-R-N Wait a second after each move, light should reset. If not repeat your shifter moves.

What was your mileage on bus? Just for curiousity, those lights will also come on at a preset amount, normally every 50,000 is what the TCM prognastics are set at for filter change and 100,000 for for fluid change...
