I am in the process of replacing the front springs, shocks, and shackles on an 04 International A3RE school bus. Need to know if you keep the bolts loose until the bus is on the ground or if it's okay to tighten to spec in the air? Also, does anyone know the torque specs? Thanks.

I don't remember the specs, but the u bolts are different depending on the thread pitch.
If I remember correctly leave them loose, sit it on the ground, torque them down, road test the bus and check torques. Then after so many miles re-torque the u bolts.
