I need to get to the ECM and IDM on this 04 FE 300 . I looked and can't see anyway to access those units . Does the engine sides come off some way ? Is there some trick to reach the electronics so I can test them for power . I have checked all my relays and fuses . Now I need to see if any power is getting to them . I looked at all the screws and wondered if it would be that easy .I owe 57 fan an apology . The last time I referred to him as 57 nut instead of fan and want to thank everyone else for your help

If you have removed the hinged cover and then the rest of the dog house by removing the 3 bolts at the front and 2 screws on the back side, that is all the access you are going to get. Might get some access going up from below with starter removed.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
