our district is installing a/c on all our busses. have to buy new machines to keep up. which 134 a/c machine do you recomend? any input would be appreciated.
I would say any decent brand name one you can get a good deal on.
We just purchased Robinair 17800B. it does multiple refrigerants so its probably not really the one we need. We purchased it from Oreilly for several thousand under MSRP. Their other good common one is the 34788.
Snap on recently had a sale on their unit. My dealer was still going to honor the sale even though it passed.
We have a snap on that has served us well. It is about 15 years old. It is only equipped to do R-134a. It is a single pass recycler, so we were told when we purchased it.
