Hey guys,

We have a 2006 International IC/CE with no reverse lights. Both the reverse lamps were replaced, along with a new beeper underneath.

Reverse lights fuse on F20 (in panel) is good, and the transmission neutral saftey switch was replaced. When the plugins on the firewall (engine side) are unhooked and you feed power through them the lights and beeper will work. Any ideas?

Thanks

Fastback, Nope. Our IC's don't have the reverse lights tied into the lamp check system.

They are still battling the problem as I speak. I had forgotten to mention...This is a wheelchair bus.

It's a bit odd, but the issue seems to be tied into the wheelchair lift door as well, because when they backfeed one of the wires on the firewall the outside light comes on for the lift door. As if you opened the lift door handle.

In the wiring diagram it looks like there is a backup light relay, but we can't find this relay. It doesn't seem to be located in the side panel. The panel on our 06 Ic's do not seem to be labeled all that well
