Good day!
2000 Int T444E, Corbeil body.

Does anyone have a water flow diagram from the engine, to the body for heating?
Or, does it matter?

Pickup from the engine, I assume, is the hose off the block, with the return line from the body going to the small collection point that is down below the reservoir.

I have seen (and been told) that the line from the block, should be the one that goes up and over the engine at the firewall, and into the bus next to the driver. (and then down to the flow valve, I assume?)
Whereas the return line, comes out of the body on the passenger side.

Ours is the opposite... that's why I ask. :-)
Maybe it doesn't matter?
Flow is flow?

Diagram? Opinion? ;-)

Thanks!

Even if you just had a minute to peer under your own bus hood (if you have same or similar) and report back? ;)

Coolant supply to heaters comes off the cylinder head.
Coolant returns to the water pump housing just above where the lower radiator hose connects, next to hose from deareation tank.
Preferred coolant flow would be first to heater core(s) that defrosts windshield.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
