I have a 1998 tc2000 with a cummins 6bta that wouldn't start. Found the issue was the starter. So I pulled it and installed a new one from napa. So I hooked everything back up and went to fire it up but had no start. This time the starter motor is working I can hear it but it is not engaging the engine. I believe the solenoid is not receiving power but cant follow the wire to find the issue. I could use some info or ideas on how to resolve this little issue. Please and Thank You!!!

If you can hear the starter spinning but not turning the motor over, more often than not, it is caused by a defective starter drive.

Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback
