I have an intermittent problem here. This is a 2011 Vision with the Actia instrument cluster. The J1939 communication circuit reads 60 ohms, 120 ohms with the resistor pulled or by disconnecting the TCM which the 120ohm resistor is internal to the module.
What happens is the instrument cluster will sweep the speedo, oil pressure and coolant temp gauges. On the display it scrolls ABS communication lost, Voltage error, and vehicle speed error. Also trans temp reading is blank.
I get the DTC 0285 with Insite which stays active. I can pull the 120 ohm resistor in the multiplex, cycle the key and reset the dash, then it's all good again. Anyone care to speculate? |
