We have a bus that has had repeat failures on the actuator for the main entrance door lock. IC part number is 427607001 it is a ford part the ford part number is FOAB-54218A42-AA on the label. The price of the part is pretty pricey from my IC dealer and when I call ford the part number is old so it doesn't come up.

Anyone have an alternative part number and source for it?

I don't know what ford application it came from so i can't really search it that way

Does it look anything like this Dorman knock-off?

I take and replace that actuator with IC's newer ones 2224630C1. Because these one don't break nearly as often. You will need the mounting bracket, PN 454080001. You will have to make your own wire connection.

If you can't handle the answer, don't ask the question
