WOW! I wonder what the "explosion" was? It couldn't have been the fuel tank! At least the rest of the bus didn't go up. It will be interesting to see what the cause is. This, boys and girls, is the reason NO ONE should be in a vehicle when fueling. I sure hope these media types get their facts straight.

They heard 2 explosions that "sounded like gun shots" from a fire at the front of the bus. My guess is the front tires letting go

That's what we decided over on the mechanic's forum. Also a later story that I read said that it was the tires. It just burns me that the headline reads "Propane Powered Bus Explodes". You wouldn't say "a diesel powered bus explodes" unless the thing blew open like a tin can with an M80 inside.
