We have had two coolant filters recently with rust on the metal inside the gasket? Has any one else ever seen this?What could be the cause? Both units have low mileage.
I think just about every coolant filter I ever took off had some rust around the top. As long as the coolant checked okay with the test strips I did not think of it as an issue.
