Basic rules on C2 electrical (and please someone correct me if I am wrong);
If something does not work, see if anything else is not working and check to see if they are on the same fuse/circuit.
The multiplexed modules that control components only supply the ground for the circuit, if there is no power to a light its likely a problem on the supply side and not the control side.
Why yes, the ORIGinal CHARGER is a Fastback

What is the Date of Mfg on your C2?
Air sign or electric sign?
There is a relay and a fuse in the fuse box under the switch panel.
I may not know the answer but I can usually find who does.
