Hi - I have a 1965 Ford Falcon Club Wagon which was a school bus for the Imperial Valley Seventh Day Adventist School in California. I haven't been able to determine when it was in service for that school, but I want to proceed with restoring it as a vintage mini-van school bus.
I've done quite a lot of repairs and mechanical upgrades, but I also want to develop the 'look' of this old school bus.
I have photos of the remains of the lettering on the side of the van. It hasn't been repainted, but I don't want to restore it as a church school bus. I'd like to draw from popular fonts and graphics from that era and restore it as an "OLD-SCHOOL BUS".
Are there any images of buses from the 1960's that you all can direct me to, for examples of how such busses were equipped and painted?
