Hey guys I have a little plastic Ford E350 with a V10 that I just degreased and tuned up. The entire engine was covered with oil. The plugs had 187,325 on them with DTCs from 3,4,5,10. The tune up new boots and removing the oil from the spark plug holes fixed the misses. From what I can see there is a crank sensor on the passenger side in the front cover that could leak. Oil is getting thrown down that side of the oil pan as well. No lower end banging and excellent oil pressure. It shows 10 hours to change the front cover gaskets which I am afraid may be the source. Anyone have experience in these 6.8L V-10s? It belongs to the VFW and I want to get it safe for them. |
