I did not read the entire article. I was too discouraged. Our supervisor spends most of her time hidden in her office. She has put 3 office employees between us and herself. She usually only shows up in the breakroom when her favorite "driver friends" are in there. She is sneaky and devisive. She does as she pleases, often ignoring the contract. The union president has her back and she has the union presidents back. It's a no win situation. We usually learn after the fact how she has done things that violate the contract or past practice to benefit her "special" drivers, refered to as "The Golden Girls". We have administrators that only care about the bottom line and try to steal every minute from us that they can. They treat all the school employees terrible. I can only hope that carma gets them all!!
KK, Too bad you are stuck with oue of the bad ones, not everyone if cut out to be a location manager. Guess the same can be said about bus drivers it is not for everybody.
Management is riddled with people who are narcissistic, controlling micromanagers. Power draws some shady people. Those of us who have competent, good-mannered people to work with should count ourselves lucky.
