our school is looking to buy a 4 post drive on lift what i was wondering what is the longest wheel base and weight of the biggest schoolbus?

my longest bus is like 188" wheelbase 39ft 77 passenger. Am i right they cant be longer than 40 ft. just dont want to get a lift thats too short or over weight.

Weight should be depending on bus possibly up to around 19-20,000-10K, I also think your correct on 40 ft max length, maybe that varies from state to state? probably doesn't

so if i get one like 315inch for the wheel base and 25000 to 27000 i should be good. Sorry earlier i said 188 it should have been 288.

Bluebird shows the longest Vision available is 499" (41'7") OAL, 280" WB, with a GVWR of 31K. The longest D3RE is 490" OAL, 273" WB and 36,200 GVWR. Any reason you don't want to go with mobile lifts? That's what we're looking for.

mobile lifts scare me heard of one breaking plus kinda expensive. kinda tight on money around here
