| I have seen a bus like that on ebay once or twice before with that paint, so I think that is how it came. It is really old, and probably rare, so that is why the bids are so high. |

| Splitrimz, I see you are bidding the bus I want. It sais on the main page that there is 1 bid, but on the bidding page, there are 5. I haven't bided yet, but is that other guy bidding also? |

I'll try to explain...The auction is a reserve auction. The seller has a hidden reserve price, no one knows how much it is. If the reserve is not met, the seller usually won't sell it. With that in mind, look at the bids. If you read a few posts above, it will tell you how much I bid. My bid wasn't enough to overcome the reserve but those other bidders don't know how much I bid, it was only at $1.00. They keep bidding to overcome my original bid of $20.00 and they have not done it yet. When they do overcome it, they most likely will still not meet the reserve price that the seller placed on the item. I'm going to guess he wants $50.00 for it. I'm not going to bid any more on it so bid over $20.00 and see what happens. One note of caution, if you overcome the reserve, you have to buy it. |

| I like those N scale models. I bought a whole 12 pack of them a few years back. |
Due to the current economic condition, the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off until further notice. |

Infact, I got one of those over the weekend for $8 bucks at a local junkstore, lmao. Apparentally they got a new version of it with a plastic entry door, and the warning lights and tail lights are painted on now, the tail lights look a whole lot better than the older style.
My Fleet Roster: (For the larger scale) -2 SS9852 Sunnyside International (I call them Blue Birds, 1998) -1 Sunnyside Transit (I forget the #, it looks like a Gillig) I call it a 1975 Gillig) -One SS9852 Monster Truck Bus -One BB AA FE Bank, 1990s model (I call it a 1990) |

How did you get the warning lights to be "transparent like that", what did you use and where do you get it from? I have TONS of matchbox/ hot wheels buses that I'd love to give warning lights, but I can't find anything that comes that small in the Beads dept. at Wallyworld |

Yes, it is better looking, but I hate the plastic doors. Splitrimz, if you can detail the 9852 INTL Blue Bird, I would love to buy some. |

Yeah, the doors are sorta worse. The place had two for sale, I either had to get a nice one with one ding and missing the grill (The black piece that resembles the grill), or one missing the doors in a tad worse condition. But I am still happy, I HATE the black grill on them. Really, I believe if you paint another rubrail betweent the 2 rubrails on the bus, it would make it more like a BB, but I hate how its a BB with traces of Carpenter and Superior in it. Looks like the designer couldn't make up his/ her mind on what bus they were trying to resemble. |

| Hey Jake, Is the SS9852 the same size as the Gillig-like bus, or the AAFE? |

The Gillig like is just like the International Type C, same company, same size. The AA FE is slightly larger, but they work togeather fine for me.
And Splitrimz, do you have a awnser to my question mentioned earlier? |

I don't know if this helps you, but on my models, when I label them, I print the labels out on regular printer paper. Then I have a "school bus yellow" color pencil that is the same shade as my models and color the paper smoothly yellow, and then cut out the wording, and use double-sided tape to apply it to the bus. But label sheets are probably much better. |
