Jason, how did you change the rims on your Blue-Bird bus bank from the originals?

Yeah, I see what you mean, it was working earlier. I just tried his website and it doesn't work anymore.

It was multiple shots of this bus.

The bus banks were customized for me by Jeff Flatt. He would have to tell you how he changed the rims.

Very interesting you say that, when at first you rejected his models for not being made of diecast

No, you might be mistakeing me from 08BBVision. I don't recall even mensioning his work on the SBF. Because of the great detail, I don't really think that it is cardboard anyway.

Oh my God! It does NOT matter! Lets MOVE ON, folks, you all need to be seperated, you all are always getting into constant wars with each other. I am sorry but it is old, can you all just agree with eachother and move on for once?

You're right, it's not 'cardboard'. I use 'posterboard' (and lots of it!!) for my buses. The posterboard is used as the skeleton or base. The sides are created by overlaping four layers of posterboard. The reason they don't look like posterboard when looking at a finished bus is because the exterior is covered with a thin plastic film called Monokote which is used by model airplane enthusiasts to cover their models.

Don't worry, I am not going to get mad. Sorry Ted, I thought it was cardboard. Do you have pictures of every bus you built? I saw a few Freightliner Blue-Bird + Thomases, Genisis Amtrans, old Ford Thomases, and others. Do you mind posting more on your website?

I have photos of every bus I've made since 1984 but the older photos are of poor quality and I've never posted them on my site. My site is limited to about 75 photos and the only ones I add are photos of my newest buses. I just completed an '08 IC FE and I hope to post photos by this weekend.

Well... I got 4 new buses for Christmas this year, and I wanted to show them off. They are 4 FS-65s, I havent customized yet but I might. The IC CE with black between the top two rub rails and around the windows is my garage bus, I removed the red warning lights, the school bus sign and the stop sign. (BACKGROUND INFO: The CE that is now the garage bus was number 18 but was replaced by an FS-65, it seems as though that CE model was cursed) I apologize if you have to scroll to the right.

I realized recently here in Texas, that all the recent model IC buses have the word, "School Bus" located at the bottom. Therefore, I had to go back and make that change to my models:

Nice garage bus IC Kodie! I had the same issue with mine. The driver side mirror and cat eye broke off. If you want to remove the "BOARD OF EDUCATION" use the good type of finger nail polish and a cue tip. dip the cue tip in the bottle. and carefully erase it. It worked on my new model really great.

I did that to remove the School Bus sign on the garage bus, I have to ask my mom if she has some nail polish remover. I plan to label the sides of all the buses once I get my printer working again.

What is your company name? It would look really cool if you decaled your garage bus, put a Keep Back 100 Ft. on the rear bumper, put the phone number on the rear door, company name on the side, etc. You should also color the hood black.

I am not sure about a name. The only bus I may do the hood black is the garage bus. As far as the blackbelt goes, it is not proper in that the top 2 rub rails are black... so it is sort of a blackbelt, just with some minor alterations.

If you have a blackbelt like that here, that automatically means your using a used bus! haha

If you look at the second picture of mine down and look at the CE's closest to you, you will see a black stripe under the windows.

I also got a few bus models for Christmas. A 1980s AllAmerican bank in great condition, and two Herpa BB IHCs. I will post pictures as soon as I get some. Nice models Kodie.
