I'd like a bus with TV screens so the kids have something to watch, and they can all be quite.

Great! So we can further retard their mental development through constant visual and audio stimulation. I'd like a bus equipped with kids whose parents have invested some time in their mental and social development instead of letting the television and computer do it all.
Spicer is nicer. |

When it comes to favorites we all have our own. If you have a large fleet you need to consider logistics. You don't need your stock manager pulling his hair out by the roots trying to keek you in stock. for This reason and the fact that they have been makeing chassis since Moby * was a minow I like IH

Although I have a love for AmTran buses, a Wayne is not common.
I'd like a 1995 Wayne Lifestar.

Florida Spec'ed 07 Blue Bird Vision. They are the nicest riding buses you will ever drive! (or ride for that matter).

My favorite bus I've rode on or seen being used by my school was a '72 Dodge Wayne with the Indian head logo with 8 way warning lights. When was this? 2005, when 2 of our spares broke down. We actually had to use 2 other school's spares along with that one to make the day. The next month, we bought a '90 Bluebird Chevy and put that old Wayne into permanent retirement. Our TD said that it was a pain to manage to take the "ol' clunker" to get it state registered for the 6 month period, just so it could be used as a spare when they found out that the old spare had broken, and that if we had a large demand for spares, we would need to use it. Now, my favorite bus in service would be our brand new 2012 IC CEs!

Older thread, might as well post.
For a favorite, I cannot just narrow it down to one.
Blue Bird TC2000 FE - First school bus I ever road. No black around the warning lights, jackknife door, and the old school luggage racks above the seats.
Blue Bird All American FE - First new bus I ever road. By 1st grade the TC2000 was swapped to a different route, but my driver only liked transit buses, so he got a new AAFE. Years later, I still road an AAFE, just newer, always been my favorites.
My current favorite AAFE in our fleet is the newest one we have, basically because of the jackknife air door, it is now the only bus in the whole fleet with a jackknife door. This one is also spec'd differently from the rest as it was bought used as an ex-military transport. White roof, Air Horns, air jackknife door, and luggage space below, and also the only FE we have with a crossing gate. Can you still get a jackknife door from Blue Bird?
Pics

If we are talking conventional, my favorite would be the Thomas FS-65, or the CE300. The Visions and C2s are nice too, I really can't pic a favorite conventional. Thomas transits also have some love from me.

Thanks! The only thing I don't like about our fleet is those ugly number things on the side of the bus. If you look below the All American sticker you will see what I am talking about.
