Reply author: ICfan I have one of them, I consider it a Amtran Bus.
Reply author: Jake I have one, it is spec'ed exactly like a late 1990s Thomas Saf-T-Liner ER w/ CA specs.
Reply author: ThomasC2 Do any of you know how to put a white roof on an IC CE diecast without taking off the roof logo?
Reply author: Lifestar Fe I would recomend re-applying a printed logo after you add the white roof.
Reply author: ThomasC2 Thats a very good idea, but where can i find such a logo, I have tried google but i can't find one.
Reply author: ICfan The IC Shield? go to the IC site, they have it on their site somewhere.
Reply author: ThomasC2 I mean one that looks like what the buses have on their roof above the driver window and door.
Reply author: Kodie Finding the logo with the stripes behind it is very difficult, I have had to take the shield and add the stripes in paint. Good luck on that one.

Reply author: SchoolBusFan Good place I found to find bus models is Europe. I bought a bunch of European transit buses...even the articulated models. They're not cheap...I paid between 12-30 Euro for each bus; the dollar is down in value so it cost more for me. (I withdrew 60 Euro which cost me almost $90).
Reply author: Lifestar Fe Yeah, when I was in Europe they had some REALLy nice and detailed transit buses, but they were too expensive for me. I did end up with medium-quality an articulated model though:
Reply author: Kodie http://www.schoolbus.lunarpages.com/Pictures/IC/IC031-07.jpg good IC Logo for your model.
Reply author: SchoolBusFan
quote: That's similar to 3 I bought at Toys R Us in Germany, but different stickers. I did get a MAN bus that was diecast for almost 30 Euro...EXPENSIVE!! (but worth it since it's rare here) I don't have any pictures with me right now.

Some people's host are private or have low bandwith that doesn't support hotlinking images... Those are some sample logos that I assume may be the size to use on some models, I have a sheet of IC-CE logos (That are larger than this and more professionally done) which you can recieve by emailing me @ b0TdpzCQRp0BfP8S@spambox.us (Note: This is a redirect email, so it will forward your email to me). If I haven't responded to your email yet, thats due to I am working on resizing the thing so its dialup friendly, and its on my other computer so I am still attempting to put it on a CD and get it here, haha. -Jake
Reply author: Jake Anyone remember that unbelieviblely short old Intl Ward Model? ITS A REAL BUS!
Reply author: Buskid
quote: Yeah, it is. It was used in the movie Dumb & Dumberer.

quote: LOL, Don't surprise me, I haven't kept up with movies for a while now.
Reply author: SchoolBusFan Wow, that does look like it.
Reply author: ThomasC2 hey, how long does it take for a blue bird bus bank to ship?
Reply author: Lifestar Fe Depends where you buy it from, and what shipping method you chose. I got mine in under a week from schoolbusgifts.com, for the standard shipping...first class or something.
Reply author: ThomasC2 I ordered mine from Blue Bird.
Reply author: ThomasC2 How come the Siku Thomas in the left picture has Black around the warning lights and the other one don't? Also, I am planning on getting one, how do you do the lettering (with the "School Bus") in the way, and how long does it usually take to ship? Priority Mail.
Reply author: Lifestar Fe If you are refering to my photobucket, then you saw the IC CE model, but the Siku does not have black around the warning lights. You can't order the lettering, so you have to paint over it or use something to get it off. It took mine less than a week
Reply author: ThomasC2 No i was talking about: http://www.school-bus-gifts.com/index.php?item=113
Reply author: splitrimz The Photo on the left is a SIKU corporate photo..The diecast model is the one below.
Reply author: Kodie I believe we have gone over this about 40 times... use nail polish remover to remove the "school bus" part.
Reply author: Lifestar Fe Oh, sorry about that.
Reply author: Kodie not you... I was refering to 08BBVIsion
Reply author: Lifestar Fe So was I, lol, I said he couldnt get it custom lettered, and you can.
Reply author: ThomasC2 How long does it take for schoolbusgifts to ship the Siku Thomas FS-65? I ordered one just now. I hop i get it b4 X-mas.
Reply author: Kodie I wouldnt count on it, the order form sould say 8-10 buissness days or something like that. Thats what it was for my IC CE's.
Reply author: ThomasC2 Any one know how to put the black around the warning lights on the Siku Thomas FS-65? NO SHARPIE! If you do, like Jeff, can you tell me where to tape it off at, and what PAINT to use?
Reply author: ICfan Why Sharpie worked fine for me. Now I am using the sharpie for the black on the hoods of my Type C buses.
Reply author: ThomasC2
quote: Because, eventually Sharpie will smudge really bad and wear off, then your bus will look like crap. Plus it looks really bad.
Reply author: ICfan wow, that has not happen to my buses yet!
Reply author: Kodie Well I guess there is only one way to find out.... if it fades try something else.
Reply author: BlueBird16 I am going to be brief on this. I have a few people that have e-mailed me about this topic. First DO NOT use Sharpie's on these models.
Reply author: ThomasC2 Thank you Jeff. you are a big help!
