Melissa Davis and Rex Squires have joined the ranks of pupil transportation professionals who have completed the Special Needs Transportation Training program.

Davis is transportation operations manager at DeKalb County Schools in Stone Mountain, Ga. Squires is transportation director at Blaine County School District in Hailey, Idaho.

To earn the special-needs endorsement through the National Association for Pupil Transportation's program, participants complete six courses in various settings, including a school bus roadeo and a trade show. They also take two courses from the association's Professional Development Series.
