MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A school bus here overturned on Monday after the driver apparently blacked out, WMC reports.

The incident happened just before 9 a.m. Investigators told the news source that the driver appeared to have lost control of the bus, and then it jumped over the curb and flipped over.
The driver and a bus aide were the only passengers aboard the bus at the time, according to WMC. The two women were taken to the hospital.

The driver told witnesses that she blacked out and woke up with the bus on its side, according to the news source. Durham School Services told WMC that the driver is being evaluated and the crash is under investigation.
