SAN ANTONIO — A school bus crashed here last week and landed in a motel swimming pool, KSAT 12 reports.

Officials for North East Independent School District told the news outlet that the bus was on its way to a school when it swerved off an access road, hit a utility pole and landed on top of one end of the pool, where it sat over 8 feet of water.

There were no children on the bus at the time, and the driver only sustained cuts and bruises. It is not yet known what caused the crash.
