SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — Firefighters reported to a school bus on Wednesday after a student found a balloon that contained a white, powdery substance, CBS reports.

The balloon was discovered during a field trip to the San Fernando Mission. As the bus was on its way back from the trip, the balloon burst while students were playing with it.

It was initially suspected that the balloon contained heroin, which is often packed in balloons. However, firefighters determined the powder was flour intended for baking.
