School buses in North Wales are being equipped with entertainment systems with the aim of keeping students calm and seated while on board. As a result, Denbighshire County Council officials hope to see reductions in the number of bullying incidents, instances of vandalism and driver distraction.

During the bus ride, students watch age-appropriate movies, concerts and nature documentaries on DVD.

The one-year pilot program is part of the Zoom project, supported by the Welsh Assembly Government.
