SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Pupil Transportation Safety Institute (PTSI) has completed a public service announcement (PSA) that emphasizes the necessity for motorists to stop when a school bus’ red lights are flashing and its stop sign is extended.

During the PSA, Pat Bailey, transportation director at Syracuse City School District, delivers an impassioned plea to viewers to not illegally pass stopped school buses, explaining that they run the risk of seriously injuring or killing students.
