Consultant and former transit agency head Mark Aesch has been added to the speaker lineup for the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT)’s 2015 Summit.

Aesch, the CEO of consulting firm TransPro, will discuss data-driven decision-making in the opening session of the Summit, which will be held Nov. 6-10 in Richmond, Virginia.

Aesch recently served as the expert in residence at School Bus eXchange (SBX), held by NAPT and School Bus Fleet last month.

At SBX, Aesch encouraged attendees to identify the outputs of success for their operations and to develop a scorecard with various factors that boil down to one number. The goal, he said, is to “demonstrate that taxpayers are getting a return on their investment.”

At the NAPT Summit this fall, Aesch will expand on his SBX remarks. His Summit session will be presented by NAPT and School Bus Fleet.
