PHOENIX — Masonlane LLC recently released Sunray, a pupil logistics and operations management cloud-based application.

The Sunray application is aimed at supporting school district operations and transportation departments with an enterprise-level cloud-based service application. The program includes transportation-related features, such as bus stop and student management, bus mapping, routing and optimization.

“The Sunray application is a complete reengineering of the Bus Mapper v1.1 application from top to bottom,” said Craig Mason, CEO and co-founder of Masonlane LLC. “It’s really a completely new application and system, as we’ve built an entirely new framework for Sunray.”

The application is hosted on secured dedicated cloud servers owned by Masonlane, which company officials said allows for individual database configurations for each customer and immediate processing run and load times.

Sunray also features an in-house designed user access and authentication management system. Data can be uploaded into the application via Excel files by the customer and processed with automated features.

There is no software to install and no setup charges. The Sunray annual subscription of $595 covers all schools, departments and users within a school district.
