HOLIDAY, Fla. — Children here will be boarding the school bus all summer — for a free lunch.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Gulfside Elementary School's lunch bus is stopping in five spots each weekday and offering meals to anyone under 18. Close to 85 percent of Gulfside Elementary students qualify for free or reduced-price meals during the school year.

The district, Pasco County Schools, provided the converted yellow bus, which includes tables and seats set up like dining booths. School officials will also be handing out free books.
