SAN ANTONIO — Transfinder held its second National Client Conference here last week.

The event, which ran from Thursday through Saturday, was expected to draw close to 200 school transportation officials from more than 110 school districts in 29 states and Canada.

Attendees participated in more than 30 classroom and hands-on computer sessions devoted to using Transfinder's suite of software solutions. Gwendolyn Santiago, executive director of the Texas Association of School Business Officials, gave the keynote address.

"Adding to our success with our first National Client Conference in 2010 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., we felt it was imperative to hold our second national conference in Texas, where our largest user base is located," said Antonio Civitella, president and CEO of Transfinder. "This is a substantial professional development experience for our clients and an opportunity for them to meet with their peers from all over the country."

In addition to the main conference, Transfinder offered a pre-conference program, featuring a "boot camp" for new users of the company's routing and planning software. Experienced users had an opportunity to be certified on Transfinder's software.
