BOSTON — BusRadio is soliciting entries in its Second Annual National Youth Art Month Contest.

Students who submit photos of their original artwork to BusRadio’s Website have the chance to win a grand prize of $2,600 in Blick art supplies for their school, and $300 worth of art materials for themselves.

“BusRadio is extremely excited to be running the Youth Art Month contest once again,” said BusRadio co-founder and CEO Michael Yanoff. “We think allowing students to demonstrate their creativity is vital, and we’re thrilled to help bring their schools the Blick art materials that they really need.”

Each submitted entry will be exhibited on BusRadio’s Website, where visitors can comment on their favorite works of art.

When submissions close, a panel of judges will pick 30 semifinalists: 10 artists from kindergarten through fifth grade, 10 artists from sixth through eighth grade, and 10 artists from ninth through 12th grade. They will then determine one grand prize, one first prize and one second prize-winning school. The grand prize-winning school will be announced at the end of May.

All entries must be received by April 17.
