Clocking system tracks employee attendance
The JobClock is a weatherproof, battery-powered timeclock. Employees can clock in and out each day using personal ID keytabs. The data is then gathered with a PDA and transferred to Exaktime’s TimeSummit software. Finally, reports can be printed or sent to payroll systems using the company’s AccountLinx software.
New service indicator preserves air filters
A new line of filter service indicators extend an air filter’s service life by signaling — electronically, visually or differentially — when the filter needs to be replaced. The company carries models made for light, medium and heavy vehicles, and each is built to resist environmentally damaging conditions.
New exhaust gaskets for fleet vehicles
Remflex Inc.’s exhaust gaskets are designed to stop exhaust leaks. The gaskets are made of 100 percent flexible graphite and do not have rubber binders or paper, which enables them to withstand up to 3,000-degree heat without becoming brittle. They are also built with a 50 percent crush, and can fill pits and gaps 1/16 of an inch in width without needing to be retightened.
Intelligent threat tracking
ThreatTRAKKER detects intruders by discriminating between normal and abnormal scene activity. Advanced features include detection and tracking of threats, target tracking between cameras, automated alarm programming and Web services. It can be used as a stand-alone surveillance and recording system or as a complementary surveillance co-processor to Pelco DVRs.
Switch extends battery life
The Low Voltage Disconnect Switch extends a vehicle’s battery life by automatically disconnecting non-critical loads from the battery when its voltage falls below a predetermined threshold. Once the battery is recharged, the switch restores the functionality of the load. It is designed to withstand moisture, dust and salt spray contamination and also provides short-circuit, over-current and over-heating protection.

Sign displays speed limit changes
The SpeedCheck Auto-Change speed sign automatically changes the posted speed limit based on prescheduled settings. It is designed for school zones, as well as other areas where changes from a set speed limit are desired. The sign can also display different speed limits depending on the time of day or day of week using a Palm handheld device or a laptop computer. It is built with an electronic LED display and IDC’s UltraClear II technology.
