ORANGE, Calif. — Adomani Inc. and A-Z Bus Sales have formed an agreement to convert and maintain hybrid and all-electric school bus fleets.

Under the partnership, Adomani will supply California-based A-Z Bus Sales with a patented drivetrain and components for retrofitting school buses to run on electricity.

Company officials said that as an Adomani service and training partner, A-Z Bus Sales brings expertise in alternative-fuel vehicles and expansive infrastructure for large-scale fleet conversions. The company services and repairs all school bus makes and models and provides sales, service, parts and financing, as well as emissions compliance services.

“A-Z has the facilities, experience, manpower and industry connections to assemble, train, warranty and provide ongoing road service as we convert new and older polluting school buses to clean zero-emission electric school buses,” Adomani CEO Jim Reynolds said, adding that the companies' capabilities will enable them to "quickly scale deployment of our systems to make a huge impact on California’s school bus market."

John Landherr, president and CEO of A-Z Bus Sales, added, “We’re impressed with the Adomani technology, management team and operations, and are looking forward to working with them to expand the broad range of services we presently offer our school fleet customers.”

The Adomani powertrain supports the medium to heavy duty fleet market, with a focus on school bus, commercial, government and utility fleets.
