WARRENVILLE, Ill. — IC Bus is encouraging Canadian students to submit materials that convey their visions for how they would make their schools a “greener” place for its 2010 Canada’s Greenest School contest.

Students may submit a variety of entries, such as drawings, photos, collages, videos, music, models, dioramas or essays, to illustrate their visions.

IC Bus will select 10 finalists and Canada will choose the winner through online voting. The winner will be announced the week of May 31.

The winning entrant will receive a hybrid bus from IC and an audit by a LEED accredited professional for his or her school, a $3,000 scholarship and $500 in class supplies for his or her teacher or sponsor.

Students have until April 5 to submit their entries. Additional contest details and entry guidelines are available at www.canadasgreenestschool.ca.
