WEST CHESTER, Pa. — Krapf Bus Companies awarded a total of $23,000 in scholarships to 20 students graduating high school in June.

All of the recipients attended one of the school districts in Pennsylvania, Delaware or Virginia that the contractor provides transportation services for.

Krapf has been giving out scholarships since 1985.

“We are fortunate to have the ability to continue the tradition of offering educational scholarships during such difficult economic times,” CEO Blake Krapf said. “These graduates are the leaders of tomorrow, and we are pleased to make a financial contribution to help them in their pursuit of a higher education.”

Recipients of the scholarship are selected by a committee of staff members at their schools.

To qualify, a student must be accepted into a college or trade school, have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, and have demonstrated good citizenship as well as school or community leadership.
