PARK CITY, Utah — School bus technicians will test their skills here in late June, vying for a chance to compete on the national stage.

Utah’s annual School Bus Technician Competition will be held June 22 at Park City School District.

The event will determine who represents the state at the national America’s Best competition this fall in Jasper, Ind.

Utah has been building an impressive record: For each of the past four years, technicians from the state have placed in the top three at the national level. Two of them took first place.

The competition in Park City is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Lunch and a full day of technical training will be provided. It is the first day of Utah’s three-day technician conference.
