WARRENVILLE, Ill. — Technicians can now register for the spring session of IC Bus University training, to be held March 15 to 19, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla.

The class, which is limited to 60 technicians, will have the following schedule:

Monday: Attendees will tour IC’s Tulsa bus plant. A two-hour evening session at the host hotel will cover Meritor WABCO’s full-power hydraulic brake system. 

Tuesday through Thursday: Attendees will cycle through three eight-hour classes on bus electronics, MaxxForce engines and bus maintenance.

Lunch sessions Tuesday through Thursday will cover Specialty Manufacturing stop arms and crossing gates, Koroseal floor care and Hankook tires. Evening sessions will cover Ricon and Braun wheelchair lifts, as well as IC Bus air conditioning.

Friday: Attendees will go through a four-hour class on Allison transmissions.

Attendees are responsible for their transportation to and from the hotel, and for their evening meals. IC Bus will provide airport pickup and drop-off; lunch and snacks Monday through Friday; as well as the course manuals and materials.

Cost for the session is $300. Technicians can register by contacting their IC Bus dealer and obtaining a voucher. Once a voucher number is obtained, registration will be online. IC dealers will have more detailed registration information.
