Mufflers eliminate pollutants from diesel exhaust
Donaldson introduced its LNF and LXF mufflers, which help to eliminate particulate matter and gaseous emissions from diesel exhaust. They also use exhaust heat to burn particulate matter in the diesel particulate filter (DPF). Moreover, the DPF removes more than 90 percent of particulate matter at lower backpressure. The LNF muffler is designed for model year 1993-2006 high nitrogen oxide engines, and the LXF muffler is designed for model year 2002-2006 low nitrogen oxide engines. Both mufflers are designed for select EGR and non-EGR on-road engine applications. The mufflers are available as part of a kit that includes an emissions device monitor that tracks the status of the mufflers and indicates when DPF cleaning is required.

Wheel nuts provide high clamping force
Nord-Lock’s wheel nuts secure the wheels on on- and off-road heavy vehicles, maintaining high clamping force under extreme operating conditions. Each nut incorporates a pair of captivated washers with cam faces on one side. On the opposite side, there are radial teeth. When the wheel nut is tightened, the teeth of the washers grip and lock the mating surfaces, allowing movement only across the cam faces. Any rotation of the wheel nut is blocked by the wedge effect of the cams.
