Effective Ways to Use the Internet

How are you using the Internet to improve your program? I use the Internet frequently to get timely information straight from the source. I find the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Website ( especially helpful in finding information to share at our monthly safety in-service meetings. Then we create our own routing directions, since the computer routes are not always the most direct. I also use the Internet to keep up with information from the California Association of School Transportation Officials ( Neal Abramson Transportation director Santa Monica-Malibu (Calif.) Unified School District The best thing about the Internet is the ability to find out what other school districts do with transportation.
