TORRANCE, Calif. — SCHOOL BUS FLEET is currently conducting its 2013 Special-Needs Survey, which will appear in the February issue.

Topics covered in last year’s survey included bullying, means of teaching bus safety procedures, bus driver and aide wages, and mainstreaming of special-needs students.

This year’s survey will address some of the topics we usually cover, but new survey questions we ask touch on curbside bus stops, video surveillance cameras on special-needs buses and home visits.

Transportation directors and supervisors at school districts, and managers at bus companies, are encouraged to participate in our 2013 Special-Needs Survey. To do so, click here.

The deadline to submit responses is Friday, Jan. 4.
