WALL, N.J. — Student Transportation Inc. (STI) has assembled a council of employees and managers dedicated specifically to special-needs services.

The council's focus will include promoting greater awareness and understanding of the types of disabilities some of the company's passengers experience. Moreover, the group will develop workshops and materials aimed at training STI employees to be more prepared in the various situations a driver can encounter.

The council is committed to making Student Transportation Inc. the most reliable, professional and highly-trained company possible when it comes to transporting this special group of passengers, company officials said.
